Nigeria Beat Algeria 2–0 to Reach AFCON 2025 Semi-Finals

Nigeria booked a place in the semi-finals of the AFCON 2025 after a dominant 2–0 victory over Algeria in Marrakech on Saturday.
Victor Osimhen opened the scoring in the 52nd minute from an Ademola Lookman cross, before Adams sealed the win eight minutes later on a fast counter-attack.
The Super Eagles controlled the game, outshooting Algeria 14–4 and not conceding a single shot on target.
Algeria protested a first-half handball decision and hinted at a complaint to CAF, but their coach admitted Nigeria were the better side. Nigeria will now face hosts Morocco in the semi-finals.
