Osimhen Shines with Goal and Assist as Galatasaray Beat Alanyaspor
Victor Osimhen has declared he is “very happy” at Galatasaray S.K. after inspiring the Turkish champions to a 3-1 victory over Alanyaspor in the Turkish Super League on Saturday.
Playing at RAMS Park, the Nigeria international delivered a standout performance, registering both a goal and an assist to help the league leaders maintain their advantage at the top of the table.
With the match level at 1-1 approaching the hour mark, Osimhen attempted a spectacular bicycle kick that turned into a perfectly placed assist for Lucas Torreira, who fired Galatasaray into the lead. The striker then wrapped up the win in the 83rd minute after capitalizing on a defensive error, rounding the goalkeeper before calmly slotting home.
The result keeps Galatasaray five points clear of rivals Fenerbahçe S.K. as the title race intensifies.
“I Am Very Happy at Galatasaray”
Speaking after the match, Osimhen expressed gratitude to the club and supporters, insisting he feels at home in Istanbul.
“I am very happy at Galatasaray,” he told the club’s official website. “Since I arrived, both my family and I have been having a great time with the president, the coach, the team, and everyone. I love my club, I love my coach, I love my fans.”
The 25-year-old also looked ahead to a crucial league clash against Beşiktaş J.K., describing it as a major test but maintaining confidence in his team’s quality.
“It will be a big match. A very high-quality team awaits us, but we also have a very high-quality team. We’ll go there for three points,” he said.
Galatasaray are also preparing for a Turkish Cup tie and a European fixture against Liverpool F.C., highlighting a demanding run of games in the coming weeks.
Osimhen has now recorded 17 goals and six assists in 25 appearances across all competitions this season, reinforcing his status as one of the club’s most influential players.
