Phyna’s sister, Ruth dies after amputation from Dangote trailer accident

BBNaija star Phyna has announced the death of her sister Ruth days after she was hit by a Dangote truck 💔.

The reality star confirmed her sister’s passing via an official statement released by her solicitor on her Instagram page today, 31st August, at about 6:30.

May her soul rest in peace.

Phyna had called out Dangote company for abandoning her sister in the hospital.

Ruth was hit by a truck belonging to Dangote’s company on August 13, 2025, close to Auchi Polytechnic in Edo State.

The truck was allegedly driven by underaged unlicensed driver.

The accident, which occurred a week after Ruth’s graduation from the tertiary institution, resulted in the amputation of her left leg.
