2027 Election Will Be Nigerians Vs. APC, Says Governor Seyi Makinde
Governor Seyi Makinde of Oyo State has made a bold statement about the upcoming 2027 election in Nigeria.
According to him, the election will be a decisive moment for Nigerians, where they’ll choose between the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC) and themselves.
Makinde criticized the APC’s governance, stating that they’ve failed to deliver on their promises and it’s time for Nigerians to decide whether to retain them in power or vote them out. He emphasized that Nigerians are suffering and need to unite to push for change.
The governor also addressed internal conflicts within the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), urging leaders to take action and members to work together to heal rifts. He stressed the importance of maintaining unity in the Southwest and not allowing the ruling party to disrupt the peace they’ve worked hard to create.
Regarding his potential presidential aspirations, Makinde said he’s old enough to make his own decisions and will be guided by the current realities in the country.
It’s worth noting that Makinde’s statement has generated mixed reactions, with some people questioning his credibility and others seeing it as a call to action for Nigerians to take control of their future.
