Former Nigerian international Victor Moses has officially joined FC Kaysar Kyzylorda of the Kazakhstan Premier League, signing a one-year contract at the age of 35. The deal comes after Moses became a free agent following his departure from Luton Town in July 2025.

Moses marked the occasion with a press conference, proudly holding up a red FC Kaysar jersey emblazoned with his name and the number 11. He later greeted enthusiastic fans at Gani Muratbayev Stadium, who welcomed the former Premier League star with cheers.

A versatile winger and wing-back, Moses boasts an illustrious career that includes winning the 2013 UEFA Europa League with Chelsea, nearly 500 club appearances, and lifting the 2013 Africa Cup of Nations with Nigeria. His signing adds significant experience and leadership to FC Kaysar, who finished 12th in the Kazakhstan Premier League last season.

Reacting to his new challenge, Moses expressed excitement for the opportunity to contribute to the club’s growth and compete in a new league. Fans on social media reacted with a mix of surprise and support, acknowledging the Nigerian star’s decision to continue his career abroad.

“I’m delighted to join FC Kaysar and look forward to what we can achieve together. It’s a new chapter, and I’m ready to give my best,” Moses said during his unveiling.

Moses’ arrival highlights his enduring quality and the growing appeal of the Kazakhstan Premier League to experienced international talents seeking new challenges late in their careers.
