Senate Passes Bill To Establish South West Development Commission
The Nigerian Senate has passed the South West Development Commission Establishment Bill 2024, aimed at addressing the region’s environmental, ecological, and development challenges.
The bill, which now awaits presidential assent, seeks to establish a commission to tackle the southwest region’s pressing issues, including environmental degradation, ecological challenges, and development disparities.
