President Tinubu expressed his wish for President Ramaphosa to have a successful term in office and called for strengthening bilateral ties between Nigeria and South Africa as strategic partners in Africa .
This development comes after President Emmerson Mnangagwa of Zimbabwe also congratulated President Ramaphosa on his reelection, reaffirming his commitment to working closely with him to strengthen ties between Zimbabwe and South Africa .
President Ramaphosa was reelected by the National Assembly as the nation’s president for the next five years, leading South Africa’s ruling African National Congress.
