Davido, Shallipopi Headline 2025 Afro Nation in Portugal
Nigerian music stars Davido and Shallipopi thrilled fans on the opening night of the 2025 Afro Nation Festival, currently underway in Portimão, Portugal.
The highly anticipated festival, known for celebrating African music and culture, kicked off on Wednesday night and is scheduled to run for three days. Afro Nation, founded in 2019, has become a global hotspot for Afrobeats, Amapiano, dancehall, and other genres rooted in the African diaspora.
Shallipopi delivered a standout performance, captivating the crowd as he brought his siblings and fellow artistes on stage during his rendition of the hit track Lahoo. His energy and creativity earned massive applause and viral reactions.
Davido, the global Afrobeats superstar, headlined the night with a dynamic performance of his classic hits including If, Fall, Dami Duro, and Fia. His set ignited the crowd, with fans chanting along and dancing to every beat.
