Raphael Varane came close to scoring on 40th minute. He got the ball inside the box from the resulting corner, but his effort went narrowly wide of the right post.
Five minutes later, Hugo Lloris made a sensational save to thwart a huge chance. A rebound fell to Jawad El Yamiq on the edge of the box and he struck goalwards towards the bottom left corner, but the goalkeeper managed to dive and punch the ball onto the post and away.
France made it 2-0 on 79th minute. Randal Kolo Muanihas the simplest of task to roll the ball into an empty net from close range after a rebound left the keeper stranded.
