Arsenal’s next game will be on January 30, when they travel to Nottingham Forest in the league.
Arsenal manager, Mikel Arteta has poured cold water on fans’ hopes for a busy end to the January transfer window.
Speaking after the 5-0 win over Crystal Palace on Saturday, Arteta insisted that he and club chiefs “love” the players they already have in the squad.
Supporters have been clamouring for the Gunners to add a striker to help their title ambitions.
But when asked whether his team could compete with Liverpool and Manchester City, Arteta replied: “We will try our best.
“We need to make sure our players feel trusted and have confidence.
“If they are doubting that is not helpful. We love the players we have.”
