VIDEO: Burna Boy and J Hus Turn Heads With Supercar Convoy Through Lagos
Grammy-winning Afrobeats star Burna Boy and UK rapper J Hus caused a stir on the streets of Lagos in the early hours of Monday after rolling out of a luxury nightclub in an eye-catching convoy of supercars.
The duo were spotted around 6 a.m. cruising through the city in a fleet that included bright yellow Lamborghini Huracáns, a purple Lamborghini Urus SUV, and other high-end vehicles. The convoy, joined by close associates such as fashion entrepreneur Rahman Jago and King Manny, cut through key parts of Lagos, including the Lekki-Ikoyi axis, as early morning haze hung over the palm-lined roads.
Videos circulating on social media captured the spectacle as the luxury cars passed the Lekki-Ikoyi toll gate, drawing reactions from fans and passers-by alike. Many online joked that the scene looked like “GTA in real life,” while others estimated the combined value of the convoy at over ₦4 billion.
The moment comes at the height of Lagos’ annual “Detty December” festivities, a period known for celebrity appearances, nonstop parties, and extravagant displays. The joint appearance of Burna Boy and J Hus has also sparked speculation among fans about a possible music collaboration between the two artists, though neither camp has confirmed any plans.
For now, the supercar cruise has added another memorable moment to Detty December 2025, reinforcing Lagos’ reputation as Africa’s entertainment capital during the festive season.
