Nollywood Actress Allwell Ademola Dies at 43
The Nigerian film industry has been thrown into mourning following the death of Nollywood actress and film producer, Allwell Ademola, who passed away at the age of 43.
Ademola was reportedly confirmed dead on Saturday, December 27, 2025, after being rushed to Ancilla Hospital in Agege, Lagos. According to sources, a neighbour took the actress to the hospital after she was found unwell at her residence. Sadly, she was pronounced dead on arrival.

While the exact cause of death has not been officially disclosed, unconfirmed reports suggest that the actress may have suffered a heart attack. Family members and close associates are yet to issue a formal statement.
Allwell Ademola was known for her contributions to Nollywood both in front of and behind the camera, earning respect among colleagues for her dedication to storytelling and film production.
Beyond her career in the creative industry, Ademola hailed from a notable lineage. She was the granddaughter of the late Sir Adetokunbo Ademola, one of Nigeria’s most revered jurists and a former Chief Justice of Nigeria.
Tributes have continued to pour in from fans and members of the entertainment industry, many describing her death as sudden and deeply painful.
She is survived by family members, colleagues, and a legacy that remains part of Nigeria’s vibrant film industry.
