2027: Akume’s Wife, David Mark’s Daughter Clinch APC Reps Tickets in Benue
Regina Akume and Blessing Onuh have emerged winners in the All Progressives Congress (APC) House of Representatives primaries held across Benue State.
Regina Akume, wife of George Akume, clinched the APC ticket for the Gboko/Tarka federal constituency during the party’s primary election conducted on Saturday.
APC Primary Results Announced in Makurdi
The results were announced on Sunday by Sabiu Mahuta, chairman of the National Assembly Primary Election Committee in Benue, at the APC secretariat in Makurdi.
Also emerging victorious was Blessing Onuh, daughter of David Mark and current national chairman of the African Democratic Congress (ADC).
Onuh defeated three other aspirants to secure the APC ticket for the Otukpo/Ohimini federal constituency, strengthening her bid for another term in the House of Representatives.

Anthony Agom — Ado/Ogbadibo/Okpokwu
