EFCC: Court Summons Yahaya Bello Over 16-Count Charge

Yahaya Bello, the former Governor of Kogi State, has been formally summoned by a High Court in the FEDERAL CAPITAL TERRITORY to appear in court on October 24.
He’ll be facing arraignment alongside two other defendants, responding to 16 outstanding charges against him.
The summons was issued by Justice Maryanne Anenih in response to the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission’s (EFCC) request.

This development suggests a significant progression in the case against the former governor.
