Asake’s debut album Mr. Money With The Vibe has surpassed 800 million streams on Spotify, becoming his first project to reach the milestone and the ninth Nigerian album to do so.

Released in 2022, the album remains one of the defining projects of the Afrobeats boom.

Meanwhile, Seyi Vibez’s February 2025 EP Children of Africa has crossed 100 million streams, marking his sixth project to hit the milestone in 2025 alone. The achievement drew reactions online, including a repost from Olamide.
