Elon Musk takes swipe at Meta as platforms Facebook and Instagram experience downtime

BONA NAIJAMeta’s Communications director, Andy Stone, has acknowledged that they are aware users are having trouble assessing their accounts adding that “We are working on this now.”
He said this via his X handle on Tuesday, March 5, after users have complained of not being able to login to their accounts on Facebook, Messenger, Instagram and Threads.

He wrote: “We’re aware people are having trouble accessing our services. We are working on this now.”
Following his post, the owner of X, Elon Musk wrote: “If you’re reading this post, it’s because our servers are working”
He also took a swipe at Meta as he shared a photo of four penguins with ‘X’ been the ‘commander’ while the three other penguins, Instagram, Facebook and Threads were saluting the ‘commander’.
