Delta State Police Arrest Brothers for Alleged Abduction and Robbery

The Delta State Police Command has apprehended two brothers, Maxwell Mathew (25) and Samuel Mathew (21), in connection with the alleged abduction and robbery of a young man named Patrick Omoregie.

According to reports, the suspects allegedly attacked and robbed the victim, forcing him to transfer N70 million from his bank account. They also stole his GLC 300 Mercedes Benz, an iPhone 16 Plus, and N150,000 in cash.

The police recovered N30 million, the victim’s car, a locally made single-barrel gun, two cartridges, and two high-end power bikes from the suspects. The arrests were made at a hotel in Benin City, Edo State, where the suspects planned to sell the stolen vehicle.
