Breaking: Tinubu Replaces Maryam Shetty, Adds Keyamo To Ministerial Nominee List

President Bola Tinubu has written the Senate to withdraw the nomination of Maryam Shetty as a Minister, replacing her with Mairiga Mahmud, from Kano State.

Tinubu’s directive is contained in a letter read by Senate President Godswill Akpabio on Friday’s plenary.

According to the letter, Mariga Mahmud is to replace Dr Shetty as a ministerial nominee.

The President also announced Festus Keyamo SAN as a ministerial nominee.

This addition now takes the total number of Ministerial Nominees to 48
