942 New Lawyers Called to the Nigerian Bar at November 2025 Ceremony in Abuja
A total of 942 new wigs have been formally admitted to the Nigerian Bar at the November 2025 Call to Bar ceremony held in Abuja.
Speaking at the event, the Chairman of the Body of Benchers and former Chief Justice of Nigeria (CJN), Justice Olukayode Ariwoola, charged the newly enrolled lawyers to uphold the highest ethical standards in the discharge of their constitutional responsibilities.
Justice Ariwoola reminded the new legal practitioners that the legal profession remains a noble calling rooted in integrity, discipline, and service to society. He emphasised that maintaining ethical conduct is essential to preserving public trust in the justice system.
He said the Body of Benchers expects every newly called lawyer to demonstrate professionalism, avoid misconduct, and commit to the values upon which the legal profession is built.
