VP Shettima’s Mother-In-Law Laid To Rest In Kano

Today in Kano, funeral prayers were held at the family residence of Vice President Kashim Shettima’s mother-in-law, Hajiya Maryam Albishir, who passed away yesterday at the age of 69.
The Vice President’s wife, Hajiya Nana Shettima, was her daughter.

The funeral was well attended by family, friends and associates, including the Kano State Governor, Abba Kabir Yusuf, Acting Governor of Borno State, Hon. Umar Usman Kadafur, Minister of Agriculture and Food Security, Sen. Abubakar Kyari, Minister of State for Steel Development, Uba Maigari Ahmadu, and National Assembly members.
The former Governor of Borno State, Sen. Ali Modu Sheriff, and former deputy governors also paid their respects.
