RIVERS CRISIS: Nyesom Wike’ loyalists quit govt as Sim Fubara loses 5 commissioners in one day

Five Rivers State commissioners loyal to the Minister of the Federal Capital Territory, FCT, Nyesom Wike, have dumped the State Executive Council.
Their resignations were contained in separate letters addressed to the governor, Siminalayi Fubara, through the Office of the Secretary to the Rivers State Government.

As at the time of filing this report, about five commissioners have notified Fubara of their decisions to quit the government following the lingering political crisis rocking the state.
The Commissioner for Social Welfare, Inime Aguma,
The Commissioner for Transport, Jacobson Nbina,
The Commissioner for Education, Professor Prince Chinedu Mmom,
The Commissioner for Housing, Gift Worlu and
The Commissioner for Environment, Austen Ben-Chioma.
