Enugu – The Nkanu Youth Organizations is proud to announce the upcoming Nkanu Youth Economic Summit 2025, a transformative initiative aimed at equipping young people with the skills, knowledge, and resources needed to thrive in today’s rapidly evolving economic landscape.
According to Dika David, President of Nkanu Youth Organizations, the summit is designed to transform Nkanu youths from passive spectators into active economic participants and business leaders.

The summit will feature a structured internship and apprenticeship system, modeled after the traditional Igbo nwa-boi apprenticeship framework, where participants will gain hands-on experience, mentorship, and business training from industry experts for a period of 6 months.
The initiative also includes a funding and startup support system, where successful participants will receive financial backing to establish their businesses. This comprehensive approach is expected to empower young entrepreneurs and contribute to the economic development of the region.
