Nigerian rapper and singer Omoniyi Raphael, popularly known as Zlatan Ibile, has celebrated his traditional wedding with his longtime partner, Davita Lamai, in Lagos on Saturday, October 24, 2026.

The Zanku crooner shared stunning photographs of himself and Davita in elaborate traditional outfits on his official Instagram page ahead of the ceremony, accompanied by the caption, “IT’s TIME TO MARRY.”

The photographs featured the couple in Benin-inspired traditional attire, with coral beads forming a prominent part of their outfits.

Davita appeared in a richly beaded red gown, complemented by matching jewellery and an elaborate traditional headpiece, while Zlatan wore a white traditional outfit accessorised with coral beads.

Their appearance attracted congratulatory messages from fans, celebrities and colleagues in the entertainment industry.

Influencer Enioluwa Adeoluwa celebrated the couple, writing, “Love is a beautiful thing! Congratulations to the Omoniyi’s.”

Comedian and skit maker Broda Shaggi also joined others in congratulating the singer and his partner.

Zlatan, Davita Have Two Children

Zlatan and Davita have been together for several years and share two sons, Toluwalase and Benaiah.

The couple announced their wedding date in a pre-wedding video shared on social media on October 8, 2026.

The video featured one of their children reflecting on their parents’ relationship and describing their home as a place of love, laughter and mutual support.

The announcement, tagged #DTTheUnion, generated excitement among fans who had followed the couple’s relationship over the years.

Reports also indicated that the pair had previously held a private civil wedding ceremony before their public traditional celebration.

Davido, Victor Boniface Support Zlatan

Ahead of the wedding, Nigerian singer Davido showed support for his close friend by sharing bundles of US dollar bills on his Instagram Story.

Davido accompanied the post with the message, “Heavy weekend for my bestie,” signalling his excitement ahead of the celebration.

The celebration marks another major personal milestone for the rapper, who rose to prominence in Nigeria’s street-pop music scene with songs including “Zanku (Leg Work)” and “Lagos Anthem.”
