Kaduna abduction: Yusuf Zailani calls for proactive leadership in handling insecurity
Speaker of the ninth Kaduna Assembly, Yusuf Ibrahim Zailani, has expressed concern and solidarity with Governor Uba Sani and the people of Kuriga Ward in the Chikun Local Government Area of the state following the recent abduction of over 280 pupils and teachers from Government Secondary School and LEA primary school.
The attack by bandits on Thursday sparked national outrage and renewed calls for urgent action to address the escalating security challenges in the region and the country at large.

The dedication of the Governor and members of the State House of Assembly is to ensuring the safety and well-being of the state’s citizen and residents. The evident through the consistent efforts to addressing and mitigate the impact of insecurity in the state.”
He emphasized the need for a coordinated effort to ensure the safe return of the victims and bring the perpetrators to justice.
Zailani also expressed his delight with Governor Uba Sani for his unwavering commitment to addressing the issue of insecurity in the state, emphasising the significance of public vigilance and collaboration with security forces in the collective effort to curb the widespread insecurity that plagues the nation.
