BBNaija Season 11: Flora and Aikou Secure Automatic Spots in Finale After Winning ‘The Gambit’ Twist

Flora Egbedi and Amyr Yousufzai, popularly known as Flora and Aikou, have become the first housemates guaranteed a place in the Big Brother Naija (BBNaija) Season 11 grand finale after emerging as winners of the show’s newly introduced “The Gambit” twist.

The announcement was made during Sunday’s live show, which many viewers expected to feature the first eviction of the season. Instead, host Ebuka Obi-Uchendu revealed the results of the special public vote that allowed fans to choose one male and one female housemate to advance directly to the finale.

Under the rules of The Gambit, the selected housemates are guaranteed a place in the final week of the competition but will not be eligible to compete for the ₦160 million grand prize.
Flora, an entrepreneur, has stood out in the house for her outspoken personality,

confidence and creative energy. She enjoys travelling, dancing and cooking, while also pursuing interests in storytelling, content creation and the beauty industry.

Aikou, whose real name is Amyr Yousufzai, is a backend developer known for his calm, thoughtful and reserved personality. An avid reader and writer, he has described himself as someone whose quiet nature is often mistaken for being distant or emotionless.

Although they have secured automatic places in the finale, Flora and Aikou will continue to participate fully in all house tasks, games and activities alongside the other contestants throughout the season.

The introduction of The Gambit marks one of the biggest twists of BBNaija Season 11, adding a new strategic dimension to the competition while keeping viewers actively involved through public voting.
With Flora and Aikou now safe until the finale, attention will shift to the remaining housemates as the race for survival intensifies in the coming weeks.
