The ultra-luxury convertible reportedly arrived at the Lagos airport on Thursday after being air-freighted from the United States through a Dallas-based importer. The sleek roadster instantly sparked excitement across social media, with fans describing it as one of the first if not the first SL 680 Monogram Series seen in Nigeria.
Powered by a handcrafted 4.0-liter twin-turbocharged V8 engine producing 577 horsepower, the Maybach SL 680 combines elite performance with signature luxury craftsmanship. The vehicle also features all-wheel drive, premium leather interiors, advanced digital technology, and the distinctive Maybach styling that separates it from the standard SL lineup.
With a starting U.S. price estimated at $224,900 before customization and shipping costs, the exotic roadster is believed to be worth significantly more after import duties and bespoke modifications.
