Pep Guardiola Wins Barclays Manager of the Month for February
Pep Guardiola has been named the Barclays Premier League Manager of the Month for February, following an impressive run of results with Manchester City.
The Spanish coach guided City through an unbeaten February, collecting 13 points in the league with victories over Liverpool, Fulham, Newcastle United and Leeds United, alongside a draw against Tottenham Hotspur.
The award marks Guardiola’s first Manager of the Month honour since December 2021, ending a gap of more than four years without the monthly recognition.
With this latest triumph, Guardiola now has 12 Premier League Manager of the Month awards, placing him third on the all-time list behind Alex Ferguson (27) and Arsène Wenger (15).
The Manchester City boss beat competition from Keith Andrews (Brentford), Michael Carrick (Manchester United) and Arne Slot (Liverpool) to claim the February prize after votes from fans were combined with those of football experts.
City’s strong month was further highlighted by a club double, with forward Antoine Semenyo also winning the EA Sports Premier League Player of the Month award.
The recognition adds another milestone to Guardiola’s decorated managerial career as he continues to lead Manchester City in the 2025/26 Premier League campaign.
