The Ikeja High Court has set January 23, 2025, as the date for hearing the defamation suit filed by Femi Falana (SAN) and his son, Folarin (Falz), against Vincent Otse, also known as VeryDarkMan (VDM).
The case was adjourned due to issues with the originating process, which was not before the court. Counsel to Falana and Falz, Muiz Banire (SAN), requested an adjournment to file administrative processes, while counsel to VDM, Marvin Omorogbe, prayed the court to strike out the lawsuit due to the invalid writ of summon.
It’s worth noting that the court had previously ordered VDM to take down an alleged defamatory video made against the Falanas, but VDM had refused to apologize.
