The news was confirmed by the apex bank via its official twitter handle.
According to the post, the fire was quickly contained. No serious damage was recorded as the fire outbreak was a minor one which was quickly put out.
The post by central bank reads “Minor fire outbreak at the Jos branch of Central bank of Nigeria, promptly contained today, April 21, 2020.”
