2. Eva Alordiah – I LOOK GOOD

Eva Alordiah is back with a new music video. The rapper and songwriter, known for tracks like “Solo Life,” “Deaf,” and “Lights Out,” has released the visuals for “I LOOK GOOD,” a song is all about growth, gratitude, and stepping into a new version of yourself.

The lyrics reflect how far she’s come, with lines like “I’ve been through hell and I’m back, doing the work on myself.”

The video, directed by The Sancturian, keeps the focus on the message, complementing the track’s  energy. It’s a return to official visuals for Eva, and she’s excited about it. “I haven’t made an official music video in soooooo long! I feel like a brand new fresh-out-box artist,” she shared.

3. Yemi Alade’s “Big Connection”

A week after turning 36, Yemi Alade is back with the visuals for “Big Connection,” a track from her album “Rebel Queen.” The song celebrates success, wealth, and the power of strong connections.

She makes it clear, she’s a big spender with no competition, moving through Lagos, South Africa, and beyond with ease. She also reflects on how her life changed after divine intervention, singing, “As my God e enter, my story change forever.”

4. Simi Celebrates the Light of Women in the New Video for “Woman to Woman”

Simi speaks boldly about women’s experiences, particularly within Nigerian and African societies where women often face second-class treatment and harmful subjugation.

On her latest album,Lost & Found, the track “Woman to Woman” is a sweet celebration of Black Girl Magic. The Nigerian singer honors women’s inner and outer beauty through simple yet radiant lyrics like “You’re one in a billion / she a queen, she a vision.”

The recently released music video, timed with Women’s History Month, showcases a diverse cast of women dancing to the song’s light, breezy rhythm. Simi performs elegantly in a gown while different women appear throughout the frame.

Unlike her more strident2021 video “Woman” — a spiritedFela Kuti-sampling track challenging misogynistic stereotypes — “Woman to Woman” takes a gentler approach. Though those societal problems persist, this new video celebrates women who create their own light amid darkness.

5. Ladipoe’s “I No Be God” Is About Love, Limits, and Showing Up Anyway

This time, Ladipoe delivers “I No Be God,” a song about love, responsibility, and knowing your limits. From the start, he makes it clear that no matter how much he cares, he can’t do it all, singing, “I no be God, I be somebody son.”

He promises to always be there when it matters, “I get shoulder whenever you worry,” but that does not mean he has all the answers. He reminds his partner that while he is a source of support, he carries his own struggles too, “My shoulder’s for you but the weight on it alone isn’t mine.”

In all, “I No Be God” is a song about love, responsibility, and the weight that comes with it.

6. Samini’s “Chaana” Video Showcases the Beauty of Africa Featuring Soweto Gospel Choir

Ghanaian reggae and dancehall artist Samini has released the music video for his latest single “Chaana,” featuring South African choral group Soweto Gospel Choir.

“Chaana,” which means “shine” in Samini’s native Dagaati language, is a call for unity as Africans come together to celebrate as one. The video brings this message to life with stunning landscapes, from rolling hills to golden savannas, where zebras, giraffes, and other wildlife roam freely. It also captures the essence of African culture, with traditional dances, colourful attire, and powerful scenes of community and celebration.

7. South African Rapper Cassper Nyovest Brings the Heat with ‘Kusho Bani’ Visuals

South African rapper Cassper Nyovest has released the visuals for his viral hit “Kusho Bani,” keeping things sharp and stylish to match the song’s energy.

The track carries a bold and confident tone, with Cassper asserting his success and brushing off critics. In lines like “Mina ngi one, bayi ten. Kea ba sliza, huh, skaba baiza” (I’m one, they are ten. I finesse them, don’t panic), he makes it clear he’s unfazed by the competition.

Beyond the visuals, “Kusho Bani” has been trending on social media, especially on TikTok, where fans have turned one of its standout lines “Have you seen my wife, huh? Hoshkaramaima (Kore) Nkare ke le China (Kore) Dripping in designer (Kore)” into a viral challenge. Even tennis star Serena Williams and digital creator Achieng Agutu have joined in.
