CHAN Eagles Having four points from their first two games, all the Eagles needed was a draw to book a quarter final berth but won instead to top the group with seven point

Okpotu began the comeback in the 58th minute by brilliantly beating his marker to head a fantastic cross from Osas Okoro beyond the Guinean goalkeeper who could do nothing but watch the ball hit the back of his net. The Eagles showed they were not done yet and meant business when Ojo Solomon rocketed from outside the box to put Nigeria 2-1 ahead in the  69th minute. Rabiu Ali put the icing on the cake and made the sure the Guineans went home without a single point when he converted a spot kick in the 83rd minute after Okpotu was fouled in the box.
