DAN JIGGY SCHOOLS MUSIC ARTISTES ON THE NEED FOR SONGS TO BE PROPERLY MIXED AND MASTERED
Daniel Unaam Aka DAN JIGGY is an indigene of Etinan in Akwa Ibom state.
Dan Jiggy is an extraordinary Producer and a sound engineer who has worked with P square, Duncan mighty, Paul play, 2face, flavour, b red, x project, general Pype, solidstar, mi, vector, ice Prince, Ozzy Boscow, Presh, waje ,Alabai, Pondis etc. and has carefully delivered his sound knowledge to these great musician’s sounds therefore putting them on the African music map.
He is also the CEO of Furthermaths Ent., Futhermaths Ent comprises of an audio/ sound aids.
Dan Jiggy started music production in 1990 with Digitrack Studio till 1996 and later moved to Dolphin Studios that same year (1996) until 2004 when he switched over to the prestigious Kennis Music in 2005 to help build the firm.
Jiggy left Kennis music in 2007 to set up his own music company (Furthermaths Ent) which till date he’s the CEO of.
In one of the interviews he granted, he had this to say when asked the implications of songs not being properly mixed…” When a song/sound is not properly mixed & mastered, the output will be rough to the ears of the listener so we need a clean and clear output”.
He further defined Mixing and mastering of songs/sounds as the ability to get a pleasant and an amplified sound to the ears soft and clean not distortion.
Music is life, Music heals and Music brings joy. Behind every successful music produced in this 21st century, there’s a great sound mixer/engineer who has worked so hard to see that the said music is well churned and has an excellent touch. Moreover, no song can sell on it own after production without the final touch of a sound mixer who work tirelessly to see the singer’s voice is well treated,filtered, mixed and mastered distinctively.
