A 3-storey building has collapsed in Kubwa area of Abuja, with some workers reportedly trapped under the rubble.
The building, which was under construction, collapsed at Hamza Abdullahi Street Off Gado Nasco Road in Katampe Ccommunity, Kubwa Resettlement Town.
According to the Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps, the incident happened at about midnight on Friday, August 26, 2022.
Officials of the National Emergency Management Agency (NEMA) are currently carrying out rescue operation.
It is unclear the number of persons who were affected, but a resident said some injured persons have been rescued and taken to the hospital.
