The singer was said to have attempted to evade arrest by operatives of the Lagos State Police Command on Tuesday by jumping a gate before he was forcefully arrested.

Portable was on Tuesday, May 14, arrested by the police in Lagos State over an alleged N14 million debt.

The singer, real named Habeeb Okikiola, was said to have bought a G-Wagon valued at N27 million from a car dealer in the state.

However, he reportedly paid only N13 million and has refused to pay the balance of N14 million, claiming the value was bad.

The command’s spokesperson, Benjamin Hundeyin, confirmed the singer arrest in a statement to newsmen.

However the video of his arrest has continued to draw the attention of his fans, critics andd social media users.
