The Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) has presented the certificates of return to the candidate of the All Progressives Grand Alliance (APGA) in the Anambra State governorship election, Professor Charles Soludo and his deputy, Dr Oonyeka Ibezim for winning the governorship election
The presentation took place at the INEC office in Awka, the state capital, on Friday.
Soludo polled 112,229 votes in the election to defeat his closest rivals, Valentine Ozigbo of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) who polled 53,807 and Andy Uba of the All Progressives Congress (APC) who polled 43,285.
All eyes are on the former Central Bank of Nigeria governor to reposition Anambra for greater economic prosperity.
