FROM RAGS TO RICHES – MoneyMan CedLo 

When you closely examine the story of MoneyMan CedLo, you will see consistency, resilience and drive to succeed against all odds. MoneyMan was raised in the slums of Hamilton, Florida. With his father not being in the picture, life forced him to wear the hat of the man of the house.

So, at 5 years old, he started working in the farm and picking fruits with his mum so their family could eat. 

Though his family were poor migrant workers, that didn’t stop MoneyMan, as he swore to never let his background determine his future. With big dreams of taking his family from rags to riches, MoneyMan saw music as the way out. He turned his passion into career with the release of his singles “power up, and paradise”, where he raps about his struggles to rise in life, though all odds were against him. 
Tupac, Scarface, Notorious BIG, DMX, Ghetto Boys, Master P, all influenced the work MoneyMan does today. But, don’t get it twisted, he doesn’t sound like any of them. Cedlo has his own unique sound and vibe that can wake up the dead. 
When things were beginning to fall in place for him, his mom passed on to the after life. Her departure left an emptiness in his heart because of how close they were. But nevertheless, MoneyMan swore to always make her proud by sticking to the right virtues she implanted in him from his early days.
