BONA NAIJAA devastating flood triggered by the failure of the Alau Dam has led to a catastrophic prison break in Maiduguri, resulting in the escape of an unknown number of inmates from the city’s Custodial facility.
According to eyewitnesses, the rising waters severely damaged the prison structure, compromising security barriers and allowing inmates to flee.
