Tottenham Beat 10 Man Crystal Palace to Move Top 5 in EPL

Tottenham Hotspur scored twice in two first-half minutes to set up a victory over Crystal Palace and keep up the pressure on the Premier League top four.

Harry Kane opened the scoring with his second goal in English Premier League this season before Lucas Moura doubled their lead with a powerful header from close range.

Crystal Palace, who had asked the Premier League to postpone the game because of a Covid-19 outbreak, which included a positive test for manager Patrick Vieira, never got going in north London. The loss could be attributed to the massive covid outbreak in their camp but since the players were up to 13 they had to play.

Patrick Vieira the head coach of Palace was self-isolating as he has covid so the game was overseen by the assistant manager Osian Roberts. Things got worst for Palace as their talisman Wilfried Zaha was sent off for two bookable offenses in the first half before Son Heung-min sealed the win with a third for Tottenham after the break.

Spurs have been unbeaten in six English Premier League games under Antonio Conte and are six points behind fourth-place Arsenal with three games in.
