Nigeria’s Super Eagles have secured qualification for the 2025 Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON) in Morocco, with two games to spare.
This impressive feat was made possible after Libya defeated Rwanda 1-0 in an earlier Group D encounter, thanks to a late goal by Fahd Saad Mohamed.
As a result, Nigeria tops Group D with 10 points, and can now finish as either group winners or runners-up.
