Popular TikToker Dies After Collapsing During Live Broadcast in Lagos

A well-known TikTok creator, popularly called ‘Disturbing’, has died after experiencing a seizure while streaming live from his home in the Ikorodu area of Lagos State.

The incident happened on Thursday and quickly spread online, as viewers witnessed the content creator showing signs of distress before collapsing.

Aside from his social media presence, Disturbing was also a cobbler and musician. He recently gained more recognition for his active role in the ‘Justice for Mohbad’ campaign.

In a statement posted on TikTok, his wife, Omowunmi, explained that he hit his head on a stone during the fall. She recounted that she was cooking at the time when neighbors rushed to alert her.

“On Thursday morning, my husband was live on TikTok while I was preparing his food. He suddenly had a seizure, fell, and struck his head on a stone. Blood started coming from his head. A young boy and some neighbors saw him, assumed he had fainted, and poured water on him. They then called me from the kitchen,” she said.

He was immediately taken to the hospital and placed on oxygen, but sadly, he passed away on Friday morning.

Omowunmi also clarified that her husband had a history of seizures and was receiving medical care, urging the public to disregard rumors suggesting his death was linked to spiritual causes.

“The last time he had a seizure was in February. His death is strictly a medical matter,” she stressed.
