Tanzanian music superstar Diamond Platnumz has officially married his long-time partner and fellow WCB Wasafi signee, Zuchu, in a private traditional Islamic wedding ceremony.
The intimate nuptials took place on Sunday, June 1, with the couple donning elegant all-white Muslim attire. Diamond, famous for chart-topping hits such as Komasava, later took to social media to confirm the union by sharing a series of heartfelt photos from the ceremony, drawing warm reactions from fans and followers.
The wedding comes after months of speculation and a previously postponed plan to wed before the holy month of Ramadan. In January 2025, Diamond had publicly declared his intention to marry Zuchu before Ramadan, though the ceremony was delayed due to undisclosed reasons.
However, the topic resurfaced during the recent wedding of fellow Tanzanian artist Juma Jux, where Diamond once again expressed his commitment to Zuchu, rekindling public excitement.
Now, with the long-anticipated union finally realized, the celebrated couple begins a new chapter in their personal and professional journey — one that has been closely followed and supported by fans across East Africa and beyond.
