Presidential Aspirant of Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), Peter Obi has formally dumped the Party.
The former governnor of Anambra state made this known in a letter written to his ward in the state, adding that he has also withdrawn from the presidential primaries of the PDP.
In a letter written to his PDP Agulu ward II chairman, Obi informed his ward Chairman of his official exit from the People’s Democratic Party (PDP).
He said the challenges of the country is deep seated and requires some level of sacrifices. And his commitment to rescuing Nigeria is sacrosanct even if it will be achieved through another route.
Also, a close Aide of the former Anambra Governor told our correspondent that the story is true but he’s not in the position to speak on the matter and said Obi will speak in a matter of hours.
