The Lagos State Police Command has confirmed that Odera Gregory Mbadiwe, brother of reality TV stars Ocee and Ozee Mbadiwe, who was declared missing on Wednesday, September 3, has been found.
According to a statement by DSP Babaseyi Oluseyi, Deputy Police Public Relations Officer, Odera was reported missing after leaving his Victoria Island residence on September 1 in his father’s Nissan 350Z Convertible and failing to return home. His family filed a missing person’s report at the Victoria Island Police Division on September 3.
The Commissioner of Police, CP Olohundare Jimoh, ordered a discreet investigation which, with the help of actionable intelligence and support from members of the public, led to Odera’s discovery in the Mile 2 area of Lagos State.
“He was found hale and hearty, though in a distressed state. He has since been reunited with his family and is receiving medical attention and proper care. In the course of the investigation, the vehicle was also recovered,” the police statement read.
The Lagos Police Commissioner commended the swift efforts of operatives and public cooperation, stressing the Command’s commitment to safeguarding residents while urging timely reporting of similar cases.

Popular Nigerian comedian and skit maker, Raji Adetola, widely known as Mr Sanku Comedy, has been confirmed dead following a fatal car accident along the Oyo–Ogbomoso road in Ibadan on Monday.
The tragic incident was first confirmed by Nollywood actress Funmi Awelewa, who revealed she had sent one of her students to check on him at Bowen Hospital after hearing the news online.
According to eyewitness reports circulating on social media, the comedian’s vehicle plunged into a ditch. He was rushed to the hospital with a friend, but while Sanku was later pronounced dead, the condition of his companion remains uncertain, with unverified reports suggesting the individual is in critical condition.

News of Sanku’s death quickly went viral across TikTok and Instagram. Fellow skit maker Ozain Comedy shared on his Instagram story, “Rest well, soldier,” while influencer Jidex also paid tribute on TikTok with the caption, “Rest in peace.”
Funmi Awelewa expressed her grief in an emotional Instagram post, recalling how she was initially told Sanku was responding to treatment:
“When I saw the news online, I quickly sent one of my students who stays close to Bowen hospital, and he told me that he met one of your friends at the hospital who told us that you’re responding to treatment. I prayed……God, we prayed!!! Kilowa de bai Oloun, Haa Olorun oba oo.”
Despite fervent prayers, she confirmed that the fast-rising comedian sadly did not survive.
