Nigerian Army Women Corps to begin field training exercise Aug 27 to Sept 2.

The Nigerian Army Women Corps (NAWC) says it has concluded arrangements to hold its Field Training Exercise (FTX) from August 27 to September 2.The exercise, scheduled to hold at Giri, Gwagwalada, is aimed at testing the combat readiness, leadership skills, physical fitness and teamwork among the female soldiers.

Acting Assistant Director, Army Public Relations in charge of the NAWC, Captain HasimuAbdullahi, who made this known in a statement issued in Abuja, alerted that there would be a mass movement of personnel, heavy military equipment and vehicles during the period.

He called on residents living around the communities in Gwagwalada, Giri, Tugan Maji, Ana-Gada, Gudumba, Tagilogo and Makalma in Abuja, not to panic during the exercise.
