Naira Marley Finally Leaves EFCC Custody 14 Days After He Was Granted Bail
Nigerian pop singer, Naira Marley has finally regained freedom the clutches of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, (EFCC), 14 days after he was granted bail of 2 Million Naira with two sureties.
The hip hop singer was seen in a video on Instagram on Friday the 14th of June where he was walking out of the prison in the company of his mother and other members of his crew.
Naira Marley had been granted bail earlier in May of 2 Million Naira and two sureties with Landed properties but he remained in jail for 14 days after.
Why he was still in jail after being granted bail has not been officially disclosed but according to speculations making rounds on social media, Marlians was finding it hard to get any Sureties for the singer.
The singer is finally out of prison and will continue his accelerated hearing on the 22nd, 23rd, and 24th of October as adjourned by Justice Nicholas Oweibo, the Judge who presided over the case on the 30th of May, 2019.
