“My life is that of service” – Hon. Marcus Onobun reassures
…Calls on FG to declare state of emergency on dilapidated Benin Roads
The Chairman committee on Rural Development and member representing Esan West/ Esan Central/ Igueben Federal Constituency, Rt Hon Marcus Onobun KSC has reiterated commitments in delivering adequate service and good representation to the people of Edo State at every capacity.
Hon Marcus Onobun in a media chat with news men at his office in the House of Representatives identified service as one of the sole responsibility he owes his people. Narrating further, he expressed concerns about the well-being of his people, ensuring to work closely with members of his committee and other stakeholders to better the lives and living standard of his people.

Earlier, Hon Onobun recounted laying good track records in all his political journeys and even till date. He recalled during his time as speaker at the Edo State House of Assembly, that he was able to bring reformation in the state legislature, provide jobs for youths and women, as well proffering solutions to many problems in the state that are so numerous to mention which he assured of doing more in any capacity he will serve.
When reacting on the bad state of some section of federal roads in Benin, the Esan born politician expressed dissatisfaction stressing that the Auchi -Benin section of the road plays a big role in the development of the region.
He further called on president Bola Amed Tinubu to declare a state of emergency in repairing the bad roads to forestall more untold stories rising from accidents, robberies and damages of consumable goods as a result of bad road.
