Miss South Africa Out of Miss Universe Due to Health Issues
Miss South Africa Mia le Roux has withdrawn from the 73rd Miss Universe pageant due to health concerns. Le Roux, who made history as the first deaf contestant, was among 120 beauty queens competing for the title.
She had been in Mexico for several weeks, participating in various events and preparing for the finale, which is scheduled to take place on Saturday, November 16. Despite her withdrawal, Le Roux expressed gratitude for the support she received from South Africa during her time at Miss Universe.
