Dr Paul Enenche was in Kebbi State for a crusade where the governor of the state offered the ministry 30 million Naira in cash. Pastor Paul politely declined the offer, requesting that the government channel the money to areas where mostly needed.

The Senior Pastor of Dunamis International Gospel Centre, Dr. Paul Enenche, recently turned down a N30 million donation from Governor Nasir Idris OF Kebbi State.

While rejecting the offer, Enenche politely told the governor to channel the funds to orphanages or other charitable causes.

The pastor was in the state for an outdoor evangelical crusade held by the church.

The governor, represented by a state official, mounted the podium and made the donation before the crowd.

He announced the N30 million cash gift as a show of appreciation from Governor Idris for Pastor Enenche’s visit and spiritual outreach.

The Commissioner for Social Duties in Kebbi State, Zayyanu Umar Aliero made the presentation.

He stated that the donation was available in cash and ready to be handed over to the church.

But Pastor Enenche declined the offer immediately.

Although he acknowledged the money and appreciated the governor’s generosity, he maintained that the church would not accept the money.

“We sincerely appreciate the gesture and the governor’s generous heart.

“But we will not take this money. Please channel it instead to orphanages or any other charitable institution of your choice,” Enenche said.

The action has been attracting reactions on social media, with many Nigerians commending the pastor.

Others also knocked the Kebbi government for making such a donation even when indigenes of the state were facing acute hunger and poverty.
