Fans threaten to boycott #OLIC Over Olamide And Lil Kesh’ s new song ‘LOGO BENZ’ (glorifying money ritual)
At a time when allegations of female underwears being used for money rituals are flying around, Olamide Adedeji and Lil Kesh find themselves in crosshairs over their latest song.
The rappers have come under fire from some Nigerians on social media for allegedly promoting money rituals in ‘Logo Benz’, their new collaboration.
“If money no enter I go do blood money”, a line which means ‘I’ll do blood money if I’m broke’, has drawn the ire of many who have called for the boycott of the duo’s songs and concerts.
Many commentators have accused the rappers of insensitivity, mockery of alleged victims of money rituals and glorifying the act.
They are also facing criticism for the ‘pata ni logo Benz’ phrase which translates to ‘underwear is the new logo of Benz’.
