On Friday morning, a hostel wall collapsed at the National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) orientation camp in Ekiti State, resulting in injuries to several corps members.

The women’s section of the hostel was affected, specifically the bathroom wall, which caved in as the corps members were preparing to take their bath.

Response and Injuries

Quick-thinking fellow corps members rushed to the scene to rescue those trapped, and the injured were given medical attention at the camp’s clinic.

According to an NYSC official, only two corps members were injured and are receiving treatment at the camp’s clinic.
